Levi Morrow wrote his MA thesis on Rav Shagar's use of Franz Rosenzweig's thought, focusing on Rav Shagar's complex relationship with the teachings of Rav Kook. Levi teaches Jewish philosophy in different institutions in Jerusalem, where he lives with his wife and two daughters. He is translating a collected volume of Rav Shagar's holiday derashot into English for eventual publication.
